A bomb was launched Thursday morning from a bridge overlooking the market of Klong Toey in Bangkok. The explosion of relatively high power, has made 15 wounded, including three in critical condition. According to Colonel
Suthip Palitkusontat police, eyewitnesses saw a man on a motorbike throw the bomb off the bridge. The site belongs to the Port Authority of Thailand, which sold the site last October to private companies. But some leaders are refusing to APT abandon the lease and continue to raise rents more than 1,000 merchant.
Somchai Wongsawat, Prime Minister of the Kingdom, warned the public against the risks of attack that could begin on November 16, when the funeral of Princess Galyani Vadhana, sister of the king, will be completed. Somchai advises Thai and foreign tourists to avoid crowded places. These risks are due to the current political instability and anti-government movement that is growing since last August in Thailand.
