La Cimbali Bistro Problemi

Sophists and atomic

From méontologie (continued).

Protagoras was almost a contemporary of Democritus. According to tradition, it would have been his disciple after another, his master. Difficult to determine. It would probably make more sense at first glance to be the disciple who turned into a sophist would founder. Yet another tradition he blames squarely to be the founder of the term fallacy. Protagoras was a sophist emeritus and famous who probably was born about thirty years before a Democrat, in the same city. Difficult to estimate the two men were not known, but there is no evidence that their philosophy is connected directly.
Surely Protagoras Abderian produces a certain tradition, that is to say he is an heir with Democritus of Persian and Hindu wisdom in Abdera who found a cultural center (not only political-military) foreground. It is curious to find Protagoras at a crossroads in the city of Athens Thurii where he was the leading constitutional expert at the request of Pericles. The Treaty of Non- be trying to make a radical response to questions posed by Herodotus and Protagoras: the laws and thoughts emanate from the man - and not gods. I would rather
for Protagoras that expresses a different tradition than nihilistic type of Democritus, the atomistic tradition. For if Leucippus has lived as a master of Democritus effective, it should be pretty much close to the contemporary Protagoras. In this case, Protagoras would have founded another school in the nihilistic tradition, Democritus atomic while being an innovator sophist Protagoras would be the point of having founded this neologism in Greece. The Sophists did not exist prior to their appearance in Greece. There are traditions of their elders by charging their knowledge and lessons to wealthy students BCE of ancient Greece, but not how rational and with this profligate nihilism.
Assume that Protagoras who founded the constitution Thurii on philosophical and legal bases fully human without the help of the gods, was founded more than Democritus know. When you read the philosophy of Democritus, it seems spoof theoretical knowledge in which he has learned a lot and much repeated, excellent student, never invented anything (which is where the good student and also a sham, since creation should be the culmination of all higher knowledge, he is also sharp).
In contrast, in Protagoras, innovation seems to be that radically streamlined and exclusively human, emanating from a certain mentality which Protagoras would have been a precursor, if not the precursor. If Protagoras is an innovator and sophist Gorgias is a nihilist earlier by tradition it represents, the sophists express the strongest theoretical individualism, as each carries its own message sophist theory and the various sophistic doctrines are significantly different .
When Gorgias (483-374 BC.), A contemporary of Protagoras (490-420), composed his Treaty of nonbeing , it can express his radical theory that mimics the game of rhetorical nature, as if the sophist's own was considered that the exercise was a theoretical question rather superficial and useless. The theory proposes that the tradition passed on by Democritus is maintained by the Sophist (Protagoras and Gorgias whom) for a methodological error as a waste of time since the initial questioning on the causes leaves to appear whenever the impossibility of any response clear and definitive.
While Democritus theorized on the basis of being the atoms, which coexist with non-being, both endless, incoherent and impossible theory, theory quickly abandoned, Protagoras and the sophists in his suite drop any hint of theorizing and focus on the virtuosity of language (and other related techniques). My interpretation of the relationship between Protagroas Democritus and based on this thesis: that the founder of the historical movement of the sophists is in the same mold of thought that Democritus of Abdera base, but that both thinkers offer two different doctrines within the same mold.
Democritus is a theorist of nihilism progeny Abderian which takes in my opinion so fairly accurate theories inherited from Indian traditions. Protagoras is an innovator of these traditions which sailed between India, Persia and Abdera. It proposes an adaptation of these theories, rather faithfully transcribed by Democritus, removing all the theoretical content (physical) and offering an impressive development implications of language.
Democritus remains a theorist of nihilism, when Protagoras offers a purely practical nihilism, which is reminiscent of the work and requirements of some logicians and philosophers of language contemporaries in the vein of so-called analytic philosophy. The doctrine of Protagoras was also almost completely lost, which says a lot about the credit that the ancients gave to these theories and atomistic sophists. Why was lost Democritus, Gorgias, Protagoras, the sophist, Epicurus, and many others of this tradition virulent nihilistic, because if they produced the doctrines were understood to be dangerous and destructive for those who read and transcribed?
Why Aristotle he had a considerable posterity, though tortuous too, so it flows naturally he relayed his own version, highly innovative, including spread of nihilism by Democritus and the Sophists? The doctrine of Protagoras, for which we still can be summarized in two simple principles and neighbors
"Man is the measure of all things: of those, as they are, those are not the because they are not. "
" Man is the measure of all things: of those, as they are, those who are not, because they are not. "
These two maxims could be summarized as follows:
1) knowledge is impossible;
2) knowledge is relative to the observer.
We are open between the millennial maelstrom Taoist tradition (concerning some key elements) and substrates of theoretical quantum physics (especially around the writings of the founder Boehr). This tradition is somewhat lapidary: Protagoras says basically that is quite futile to think about fundamental issues and theoretical, because knowledge is impossible. Only basic knowledge can post. Hence the emphasis on learning the language.
If Protagoras doctrine draws its knowledge Abderian, inflection he gives is significantly different from the atomic doctrine dear to Democrats (and its mysterious master Leucippus): if both participants of nihilism, with the contradictory existence granted to non-being, Democritus believes that the theoretical foundation is necessary, when Protagoras inflects this design to determine that historically the first theory is uncertain as useless.
Protagoras Perhaps he sought before Democritus a chronological point of view, to escape the trap which is strained by the atomistic version of nihilism is the idea of a contradictory and untenable theory, which gives the existence of joint infinite sets two antagonistic (being and nonbeing). The fallacy as it was founded by Protagoras would have in common, beyond doctrinal differences, seek to bring coherence to nihilism, or at least more consistent than any case impossible, at least one sustainability inconsistent.
Sophists were gone the same starting point Aristotle, but they have failed. Aristotle would have succeeded in building lasting nihilism, where the Sophists have failed. That the sophists are older with Protagoras that Democritus is not surprising, because the Democrat is Abderian propagator of a doctrine that is not Greek anyway. As for the failure of the sophist, as it was launched and christened by Protagoras, it rests on the idea that we can produce applications without fundamental theory just pre-existing, that is to say with a theory implicitly false.
Sophists have perfected without worrying about the consequences of coherence causes. This error explains their unbelievable fall. For if Plato mocks their venality and dishonesty behind these ridiculous charges and will be retained by posterity, there is the theoretical criticism: they talk all the better he does not know whereof they speak. They are smooth talkers without basis. Perhaps it is this method to look inept than Nietzsche when he removes the background without replacement, that is to say, only by promoting the appearances behind the appearances, in a cycle of reduplication more indefinite infinite.
It is plausible that the sophists have attempted, in this sleight of theoretical fictitiously replaced by the practice of resolving contradictions within the doctrine atavistic nihilistic, as they appear so glaring in the atoms. We found other schools for the primate vassal theoretical practice in the rule - thus Cyrenaics hedonistic or even skeptical of the school Pyrrho. The Epicureans cite the doctrine of Democritus atomic around, but they will give it a theoretical difference of importance (in addition to minor differences): for them being there some finite, while for Democritus the atoms be is infinite in that the compositions from the atoms are undefined.
The Epicureans would probably understand Democritus and atoms, as they have tried a few centuries later, to combine the theoretical framework of Democritus to the exclusive practice of the sophists and reductive in solving the most glaring inconsistencies while stressing the importance of moral action. The failure of the sophists left the field open to the proposal Aristotelian sophists who condemned the use of language in theory, Aristotle understood the urgency of correcting the excessive theoretical inconsistencies present in Democritus while facing the problem .
And his solution was, to relegate the problem of inconsistency in the theoretical sphere of non-being, where the undecidable makes it less disturbing. In doing so, the Aristotelian doctrine is very theoretical, very difficult and highly impractical. Epicurus thus proposes to build a morality that is in connection with the theory, but that is more affordable and less lead on scientific research as a way of life on the margins of society in decay. When we understand that the Garden of Epicurus was worth more hypocritical than monastic retreat, inconsistency resurfaced with a vengeance. Epicurus and loses his bet to reconcile the theorist atoms Democritus and Protagoras the founder and destroyer of the fallacy of the first questions unnecessary.

Should we censor books dictators?

At the time of the revolution in Libya, some questions arise concerning the powers of dictators. Many statesmen have published books claiming or presenting their ideas. Often and in hindsight those books were used to indoctrinate an entire population. For example Hitler with Mein Kampf that has spread through the books of Nazism and his idea of what to say Little Red Book of Mao Zedong exposing the ideas of communism in China and finally a whole and more news The Green Paper Gaddafi in which he outlined his vision of democracy and politics ... Dealing with such a book? The censor or leave them free movement? When we know that men have fought for freedom of thought and the press seems exaggerated, but should we therefore keep certain books sometimes extremists peddle ideas as did Mein Kampf?

this connection and for your information, Mein Kampf for a period was censored in France before being allowed back but its release is closely watched.

What Is Kitchenaid Paddle Attachment

open secret

The Libyan case is only informative if we take it as a process of metonymic collapse widespread and worldwide revolt. The case reminds us that Gaddafi antics of Michael Jackson may also apply to the neo-colonial. We pan with the incomprehensibility of the revolutions in the Arab-Muslims, while the immediate cause is the hyperinflationary explosion of commodity prices. The collapse of imperialism true and verifiable, such as UK, gives way to political chaos. Agglomerates and conglomerates who run this empire labyrinthine financial structure had no other choice to keep their power in any case condemned as satraps to drop their the head of their dominions .
Gaddafi passes for an enemy of the West in simplistic analysis reveals himself in all respects as a cruel dictator and off-axis, so unlikely to compromise between Michael Jackson and Saddam Hussein, which is released by the British Empire after the British Empire's use of him so diverted. This shows that empires address the worst way, without recognition, their lackeys and their representatives: they flock like lemons, then throw them when they are obsolete. It's almost a secret that the popular revolt Libya is funded by Western interests who control the rich oil reserves in the country, including the region around Benghazi, where the protesters are demanding the return of a descendant of King Idris, an ally of the British Empire:

" A company official Libyan Arabian Gulf Oil , located in the east, largely controlled by opponents of the power of Colonel Gaddafi, told Wall Street Journal Sunday that oil shipments were about resume. A tanker carrying 700,000 barrels of oil and was leaving the port of Tobruk (north-east of Libya) on the night of Sunday to Monday, probably to China, said Hassan Bulifa a member of executive committee of the company, the business daily American.
The company was taken over by opponents of the Colonel Muammar Gaddafi since the resignation of its chairman, Abdulwanis Saad, who was loyal to power, the paper . The last shipment of oil leaving the east of Libya, which is largely beyond the power of government back to Saturday 19 February. OPEC member Libya is a major oil producer in Africa, with 1.8 million barrels per day. Its reserves are estimated at 42 billion barrels. Oil accounts for more 95% of exports and 75% of the state budget. "

Quick glance at the Arabian Gulf Oil Company according Wikipedia to realize that the contractor history that FVC is BP (with American partners), who is also an important partner in Libya since the pro-Western change made by the Guide Lost after 2001:

Note that British group Scottish Weir Westgarrth Ltd.. was in charge of the modernization project of the Tobruk refinery, including the 90, which says a lot about the image anti-Western, anti-American and anti-British Colonel and his so-called pan-Arab regime. Information including distilled Jeune Afrique speaks to acquaintances of the Gaddafi with the British Empire: his complicity with the peaceful and loyal Tony Blair. Please do not laugh. Finally, in this swamp of alligators, a megalomaniac like Gaddafi would almost touching as friends, adversaries treacherous and duplicitous prove:

http://www.radio-canada.ca/nouvelles/international/2010/07/07/007-blair-kadhafi-afffaires.shtml

"Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair made an unusual career change. In an interview with Daily Mail , Seif el-Islam Gadhafi, son of the "Guide" Libya has revealed that Mr Blair was working with Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on "projects Africa "and is also a consultant for the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA). A public agency that manages about $ 90 million.
Seif el-Islam Gadhafi judge that it is normal Blair seeks to "raise money". A spokesman for Mr Blair denied the words of the son of Libyan leader, saying the former British prime minister "does not play a role, formal or informal, with the LIA, and has no commercial relationship with Libyan companies, nor any project in Africa. " Seif el-Islam, but maintained his statements. According
Seif el-Islam Gaddafi, Mr Blair visited several times after his departure from 10 Downing Street in Libya for talks with Gaddafi. Mr Blair is now "a family friend," said Seif el-Islam Gadhafi. According to Jeune Afrique, Mr Blair signed in 2008, a contract with the U.S. bank JP Morgan, who charged, against a fee of $ 3.17 million a year for it to develop the "banking opportunities" in Libya. Relations between Libya and Britain were very tense for many years, particularly because of the Lockerbie bombing in which a Libyan agent was convicted, then released for "humanitarian" reasons.
However in 2004, the British prime minister visited Libya to meet Muammar Gaddafi and seal the reconciliation between the two countries. Following this visit, several agreements were signed, including with oil companies, including BP.
recall that after the end of his tenure, Mr. Blair has been appointed representative of the Quartet (U.S., EU, UN and Russia) for the Middle East. "

We feel anger and Despite the break with Salif's son and heir Senior Colonel, who, after going through the best training schools of the Empire and its countries have liberalized so docile and revealing, treats some of his patrons of the British Empire quitters and manipulators.'s true, but it's not because we dropped by a manipulator that is itself an innocent victim. It could be that Coco is a megalomaniac psychopath and psychotic? As for Blair, the man of the Third Way Fabian, less diplomatic honorific title should rather be: representative of the British Empire in the Near East.
The case indicates that the Libyan political chaos expresses the strategy of the British Empire in collapse to maintain his power in tatters, strategy in the region supported by the Saudi monarchy and its means of propaganda Islamic Wahhabism degenerated. The confession of the media and Western diplomats (no longer control the situation) is admissible relative to the situation before the crisis. The world order before the name was based on the Peace of Westphalia confined to nation states of Western and developed in the rest of the world by neo-colonial relations with puppet states.
When analysts argue that the West allowed no one controls the popular revolts in Arab countries (and worldwide), we forget to mention that this loss of control only lead strategy chaos and the trigger of this strategy is the collapse of imperial power. The strategy of chaos is riveted to the collapse of imperialism and the NAME is actually this chaos. Divide and conquer - refrain strategic Empires. No doubt we'll know more about these factions financial crimes often misidentified as American or Zionist garb when the British Empire will collapse and that historians can finally focus on valuable documents, free of intentions hagiographic or propagandists.

The tribulations of a cashier Anna Sam

The back cover: Her name is Anna , she is twenty-eight years, a university degree in literature and eight years of experience behind fund supermarket. A little art
conducive to discussions, punctuated by automatic gestures ....
Anna might feel to be a robot if it had been the idea of telling her work, day after day.
She saw you checkout. You've been customers easy or pain in the ass, rich or poor, complexed consumption or posers. You confused with a green plant or you would have said hello, you have trampled the opening of the store or you have been accustomed nonchalant closures. Anna, you've dredged, despised, insulted. It nothing happens in the life of a cashier? Now, take your cart and follow up Anna's body.

My opinion: This book is rather surprising and it echoes some situations I knew as a seasonal in a supermarket. The book is divided into several short chapters that give very short and the pace of reading. The stories are linked together in a sometimes disjointed. The author applies to describe and analyze customer behavior and it just falls every time even if the limit with the cliche is narrowly avoided. The style is quite simple, the humor is cleaner and we don ' have no trouble putting ourselves in the place of cashiers. Too short or too long, it depends on personal taste but this book leaves me a mixed impression. Certainly, I shall look at the cashiers in different ways and this book aims to reflect a little bit about our attitude towards them. But I feel that the shape of the book is not good and does not fill my expectations. Only at the end of the book that we discover it is actually a collection of articles written by Anna Sam on his blog and here I think it not stick. This could be a novel type chick bed but I see a series of disjointed anecdotes.

To summarize: I am disappointed by this reading has still managed to make me smile at times. The form is not mature enough yet and it may sometimes appear disjointed.

Conspiracy Conspiracy (continued) The imperative

Extract from an article World dated February 27, 2011:
"Faced with a growing protest in the street, the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, spoke of a "conspiracy" against the unity of his country and vowed to defend the "Republican scheme" in a speech to army commanders and security forces, reported Sunday, February 27 media Sanaa.
And here's the exact quote:
"Our nation is in four years by enormous difficulties (...) and we try to address them through democratic means and dialogue with all political leaders, but in vain " , the president said Saturday, Feb. 26 in the evening before the chiefs of the armed forces and security units. " There is a conspiracy against the unity and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen and we in the armed forces, we have sworn to preserve the republican regime, unity and territorial integrity of Yemen until the last drop of our blood " ," he added.
No need to know exactly who conspires in this region, although we doubt that the influence or interference of Saudi Arabia and conglomerates of the British Empire are not far behind that charge (where anti-Americanism smells of hypocrisy or simplistic). What I find most interesting is that a head of state who does not pass for an upset in the noggin as the hilarious Gaddafi in Libya, facing riots, publicly acknowledge that the state conspiracies exist.
course, we knew, but the reading grid that provides the plot is really perverse or disgusting, that is to say, prohibiting opportunity to denounce the effectiveness of state harmful conspiracies. The plot is a label serving as a powerful critic (which the review would prove yet defective). The Occidental despite knowing that the plots of state are commonplace in history, it still works in combination, probably the victim afraid to go to plot, from the most appalling mimicry. That would be the name of critical thinking that we would be less critical and more mimetic?

Millennium 3: The Queen in the palace of currents Stieg Larsson air

The back cover: What drives the first two volumes of the trilogy Millennium do not read the following lines if they prefer to discover for themselves this third volume in a series quickly became worship.
The reader of the second volume expected, his dream has come true: Lisbeth is not dead. This is not a reason to declare victory: Lisbeth, very bad shape, will be stuck for weeks in hospital, physically unable to move and act. Binding, it is even more than it weighs on various charges which are placed segregated by the police. A bored high: his father, who hates it and hit with an ax, is in the same hospital, just in better shape it ...
There is, moreover, no reason to stop the underground activities of a few renegades from the Sapo, the security police. To remain hidden, these people will probably shadow the incentive to remove those who bother or know.
side forces of good, you can rely on Mikael Blomkvist, who, on the one hand, Lisbeth loves but can not meet, and on the other hand, begins to concoct a nice scoop on state secrets that could At the same time, blanch never Lisbeth. Mikael can certainly count on the help of Armanskij, remains whether it can still be trusted to Erika Berger, now past editor of a rival publication.

My opinion: And now, there is, I finished the series Millennium ... The climax of the trilogy without a doubt! A thrilling plot that leads you into a conspiracy of the most Machiavellian. The novel is well done, full of twists and surprises. It is a reading which is not bored at all!
The characters are true to themselves. Mikael Blomkvist journalist running to the aid of Lisbeth whom she still fascinates me as much by his strength of character and intelligence. Characters who know a great evolution and therefore taking the body as and tomes.
style Stieg Larsson is effective and leads us into a cycle literature which can not be dropped. I stayed glued to the book during the last 300 pages completely fascinated by the story and rebounds.
To summarize: Millennium is a literary series that I recommend highly. The series reached its peak during this Volume 3. In short, a reading not to be missed! And here

my opinion on a Millennium and Millennium 2.
