Definition:
The euphemism is a stylistic device which aims to alleviate unpleasant idea. It mitigates the reality and uses understatement or circumlocutions to express themselves. The opposite of euphemism is hyperbole. Often, the euphemism hides political ideas of propriety, sexuality short we can take a shortcut by saying that the euphemism is a bit wooden language of literature.
